A way to repurpose items in your closet, cover up that stain of your favorite shirt or bought something on sale but don't like the color, you can change that.
All pieces must be natural fibers - Cotton, Hemp, Wool, Silk, Bamboo. In person sessions do not include heavyweight or bedding as these items take a longer dye process. Heavyweight items are denim like fabric/jeans, coats and coveralls.
Your items will need to be prepared for dye through mordant process. This will ensure the color locks into the fiber and has better color fastness for wash and wear.
To ensure we have adequate time to prepare your garment for mordanting, pick the method that works best for you:
Local drop off at the studio. Must be at least 48 hours prior to community bath session.
Mail in option. We will send a label to mail items into the studio. If you choose this option and will be dyeing the piece yourself, please allow 2 weeks prior to session.
MN Dye For You option. We will send a label to mail your items to the studio and I will dye it for you and ship back. *Price includes shipping costs.
Please note MN DYE FOR YOU Bedding Option is for either a sheet set or duvet/Blanket. For both, the quantity is 2.
